Couple at the Apple Tree

It is a warm autumn day and the leaves have turned bright red and yellow, perfect whether for this couple to flirt with one another around the old gnarled fruit tree.

It's apple season here in North Georgia, and I wanted to create a pastoral work featuring an apple tree. Generally, apple trees aren't as big as the one I depicted here, but I wanted this one to be a kind of special location, a destination for the people like the two I depicted here.
